- This program prepares students for a career as an educator and trainer in industry, TAFE, post-compulsory schooling or adult and community education. Students will be required to undertake teaching practice in a vocational education, training or workplace setting as part of the program. This degree can lead to teacher registration in Queensland. Students will develop an understanding of the key concepts and values underlying adult and vocational education, communication and change, teaching and learning and also curriculum development. The introductory themes are expanded into three majors. They may elect to complete more than one major as part of their degree. The majors include: adult and vocational teaching, adult literacy and numeracy, human resource development and vocational education and training in schools.
